Netty
Scrum master
Netty’s story
She began her journey by obtaining a BTS in IT Solutions for Organizations, followed by a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, and eventually culminating in a master’s degree in Software Engineering. During her final internship, her talent and dedication were recognized, leading to a full-time job offer.
Thus, Netty started her professional career as a Software Development Engineer, alternating between Java and MainFrame technologies (Cobol, Pacbase) for three years. Naturally curious, she transitioned to supporting development teams as a Scrum Master, applying the Agile Scrum methodology.
A chance encounter with an Apside colleague during a client assignment became a turning point in her career. Drawn by the group’s human values and attentive approach, she decided to take the leap and began the process of joining their team.
From the very first interaction, Netty was captivated by the welcoming atmosphere at Apside Bordeaux. The subsequent interviews only reinforced her initial impression, and within just one week, she formalized her commitment by signing a contract.
Why did she choose Apside?
Netty : «From the very beginning, the integration into the company went extremely well. The first phone interview was very spontaneous and dynamic. This was followed by additional phone interviews that were warm, friendly, and smooth. I was warmly welcomed and well-received by various HR members, managers, salespeople, and colleagues. What initially attracted me to Apside, and what I hadn’t found in my previous IT service companies, was their attentiveness and willingness to listen to their employees. Right away, I had the impression that Apside was a family-oriented, young, active, entrepreneurial, and vibrant company.
Furthermore, when they presented me with clients and projects, I quickly realized that I would be able to leverage the experience I had gained from my previous assignments while simultaneously expanding my skill set and expertise.»
Netty’s missions
After a successful initial experience with a client in the banking sector, Netty decided to continue in this field, specializing in large-scale agility, particularly with the SAFe framework. As an experienced Scrum Master, she ensures the smooth execution of SAFe and Scrum practices within multiple teams.
Her responsibilities span a wide range of activities, from setting up to facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. She also oversees SAFe-specific ceremonies, including the Inspect & Adapt (IA) workshops and the Program Increment Planning (PIP) sessions.
During the two days dedicated to PIP, her role primarily involves assisting teams in planning user stories and features for the first four iterations, while identifying and sharing potential dependencies and risks. Her objective is to ensure that each iteration delivers added value to the client and that feedback is incorporated to continuously improve deliverables.
After each retrospective, Netty facilitates the implementation of corrective actions to overcome obstacles and drive continuous improvement. Through her methodical and proactive approach, Netty helps the team identify challenges and opportunities for growth, thereby strengthening its cohesion and effectiveness in delivering projects.
