CDD Tremplin AN EXAMPLE OF INCLUSION IN THE AERONAUTICAL SECTOR
At the beginning of April, Apside, Apsid’EA and Follow your Collab launched the first session of the springboard fixed-term contract! The goal? Train and incorporate three people with disabilities into the Apside workforce at Airbus Helicopters.

But what is the springboard fixed-term contract? The springboard fixed-term contract is a scheme put in place by the French government in 2019 .It is concluded between a disability-friendly company, like Apsid’EA, and people with disabilities, and is aimed at promoting and propagating professional inclusion. Apside, already a pioneer in the sector by having created the first disability-friendly company –Apsid’EA – within an IT company in 2019, took the plunge in 2022! These contracts represent a real challenge for Apside and Apsid’EA that are looking to lead the way in the aeronautics sector.

For this first session, Apside and Apsid’EA called on Follow Your Collab and David Sitta’s teams to welcome, train and incorporate these people within the Apside workforce. There were about 15 employees, trainers and tutors working on adapting the training course. Initially provided over four weeks, the materials and processes had to be revised to meet the specifications of the Qualiopi standards in order to extend the duration of the course to four months. At the same time, of course, a system has been put in place to monitor the training activities, the staff development and the acquisition of skills. Finally, about 10 instructors, along with tutors for the three participants, were deployed for the occasion.

All this work was made possible thanks to the dedication of David Sitta, Mathieu Souche –disability coordinator at Apsid’EA –instructors, tutors and candidates in particular. Thanks to everyone’s team work, the Aix-en-Provence branch stands out for being the first to enable an Apsid’EA employee to be autonomous in the aeronautics sector and, more particularly, at Airbus Helicopters. The involvement of Airbus Helicopters and the assignment of our participants to three different services on three locations and with three different clients demonstrates the importance of the Apside and Follow Your Collab project, as well as the level of trust that our clients have placed in us.

At the end of the five mandatory training courses which define the first part of this session, our learners completed an assessment which they successfully validated.This assessment session guaranteed the acquisition of the different skills associated with learning the job of methods preparer.As a result, they were able to move on to the second stage made up of four modules that explain the profession in question.They are now physically at Airbus Helicopters, on the customer’s sites with their respective tutors, to discover and observe the duties they will be able to perform if successful!
